Build LEGO® creations with other kids. Try a building challenge or use your imagination! Ages 6-11.

Join us on the 1st and 3rd Mondays for the LEGO® Club at Ygnacio Valley Library! We provide the LEGO's®, you provide the fun. No registration required. For special accommodation, please provide the library with 72 hours' notice.

Challenge yourself with a new at-home project every Monday. Build, create, and experiment something amazing at home with a new project each week. Develop your social, motor, and problem-solving skills while having fun! One kit per patron, while supplies last. For children ages 6 through 9.

From experiential exhibitions to in-depth live demos to fun videos on social media, the Science Museum of Virginia looks for opportunities to encourage all Virginians to enrich their lives through science. The Science Museum is a catalyst for inspiration, a place that sparks curiosity, encourages discovery and generates ideas in science, technology, engineering and math.

Join us for Tinker Tuesdays, our pop-up makerspace! This creative and interactive environment is designed to inspire and encourage young minds to explore, experiment, and learn through hands-on activities. Equipped with a variety of materials and resources, Tinker Tuesday will empower children to engage in activities related to S.T.E.A.M. in a playful and imaginative manner!

Calling all young architects! Come create a beautiful Lego masterpiece every Tuesday! Projects will be displayed for the week until the following meeting. Ages 6+ & accompanied by a responsible adult

Drop by to learn about all the offerings we have for our tween and teen patrons. Use our gaming systems, make art, learn new technologies or just hang out! Tech equipment available includes a 3D printer, Cricut vinyl cutter, Nintendo Switch gaming system, DSLR camera, green screen, studio lighting kit, laptops and headphones.

Children in grades 1-5 are invited to get creative and build with lots of LEGO®! We'll provide the bricks while the kids provide the imagination. All LEGO® will remain at the Library, so bring a camera to capture a photo of your build. Please leave your own LEGO® at home so they don't get mixed up with the Library's.

3D Printer available for public use. Staff can provide basic help finding free 3D files online and using Cura Ultimaker 3D printing software. Print jobs taking more than 3 hours should be taken to the MakerSpace at the downtown branch of Missoula Public Library. Discover the magic of huge blue blocks and felt magna tiles. Kids can visit anytime between 11 am-2 pm to build and dream up giant creations all while learning about STEM education.

Bring your imagination and see what you can create with our building materials. We supply everything so please leave your LEGO® toys and other building materials at home. Ages 3 and up.

Learn Computer Video Editing from MCAT staff. You can get personalized lessons every Wednesday from 2 PM to 3 PM and 6-7 PM. You can register at mcat.org and get your preferred date or call MCAT media instructors at (406) 542-6228 or register online at mcat.org.

This drop-in program gives kids and their caretakers a chance to build early STEM skills through experiments and activities. Ideal for ages 2-5.

LaterLab is a space for Makers to freely design, create and connect! Using the tools, machines and materials already available at CREATE, Makers will have the freedom to build on our 3D printers, etch designs with our laser cutters, woodwork using our tools and machinery, and sew up unique creations with our sewing machines. Wednesday – Saturday nights, CREATE will stay open from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. to allow aspiring artists, handiwork enthusiasts and curious creatives to explore a new skill, hone their craft and meet like-minded Makers.

The Mansfield FLL Explore Festival is a chance for Discover and Explore teams to celebrate their learning. In addition to sharing their team’s mission model, poster, and core values, kids will enjoy a school gym full of hands-on STEM stations they can explore as they make new friends. We will celebrate with a “high-five” ceremony in which all teams receive an award. Our Festival is held on a weekday to accommodate school teams, though all teams are welcome.
