Unlock Your Creativity at Our Teen Makerspace! Ages 12-17 are invited to come and create with some amazing tools: 3D Printer, Cricut Machine, Button Making, Crafts & More. Drop-in program from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Teen Room. Come explore, design, and make something amazing!

Assemble a Thunder over Louisville inspired interactive diorama that captures light reflections between two mirrors, creating an optical illusion that goes on as far as the eye can see. MakerPlace Workshops include general admission to Kentucky Science Center. Open to ages 8+. Please note that one adult is required to attend the workshop for every two children.

The new Space Exploration Gallery and Adventures in Early Learners Gallery The SPACE (Smile, Play, Achieve, Create, Explore), invites you to celebrate the spirit of exploration through state-of-the-art, interactive exhibits that explore our solar system! Hundreds of robots from around the world duking it out with highly dangerous weapons to win a Golden Dumpster trophy. Non-stop up-close action, food trucks, breweries, cocktails and surprises at each event. You can even drive and fight with a robot with our test-driving experience, or learn how to build your own with Havoc Academy. Learn all about science, engineering and robotics in our Bot Museum.

The Botball Educational Robotics Program engages middle and high school aged students in a team-oriented robotics competition, and serves as a perfect way to meet today’s new common core standards.

"A Knowledge Center to inspire young people for the future workforce by saving old and new technology." The Rhode Island Computer Museum (RICM) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1999 in Rhode Island to preserve our rich vintage computer history and offer a glimpse of the past. RICM's mission statement is "procuring and preserving items that relate to computer science and its history; disseminating knowledge, and encouraging research in computer science by means of visits, lectures, discussions, and publications. To help develop and inspire the next generation of young STEM leaders and ignite a passion for STEM within our community. STEM Con 2025 will provide hands-on learning experiences, foster innovation, and create opportunities for students to explore, experiment, and excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

SIGNALS is a communication technology museum located in Huntsville, Alabama. It provides a hands-on, immersive experience where guests can explore, interact, and learn about communication technologies throughout history. Visitors will leave the museum with more appreciation for the business leaders and inventors alike that have paved the way for the digital technologies we rely on today.

FIRST LEGO League Explore teams (ages 6-10) celebrate their accomplishments together and share their learning journeys by presenting their Show Me Posters and LEGO models at this season-culminating exposition. Older robotics teams demonstrate at these events. The iMAGINE STEAM Festivals are designed to showcase PreK-12 education and career pathways in Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM) through fun, hands-on learning for families. The festival is a highly visible street festival that engages companies, schools, and nonprofits in providing exciting, interactive STEAM learning exhibits for PreK-12 students and their families. The purpose of the festival is to ignite the interest of students in STEAM learning and career pathways.

Join us at the Machacek Library for hands-on projects rooted in STEM. Ideal for ages 5-10.

Here, visitors can explore the industry's latest mobile robots and experience the impact of RobOps, or robot operations. As a robot showcase, the space offers a glimpse into how robots, smart infrastructure, and automation technologies collaborate with each other and people to enhance productivity across various industries, including retail, hospitality, and logistics. The Robot Space is a beacon for robotics innovation, a concept store, and a community hub for industry veterans and those new to robotics.
